I'm pretty sure everyone noticed the community in dota is shit.
i just had a game with 4 guys who claim to be a team, we rapped the other team, and the tiny on the other team raged out. once tiny abandoned all my team left and i was forced to leave too and lose.
this kind of things really make me rage!

The level of no-skill players is too damn high.

I solve this by playing with a full team of friends. You tend to roll over noob teams and youre less mad if your team fails

I finally decided to search for a forum of fellow dota players. I am getting back into playing dota after not playing since the original. I definitely enjoy but DAMN yes the community sucks. Plus PUGs are absolutely HORRID. Looking to find some people to play with.

The best ways to inoculate yourself from the retardation of the community are to:
a) play with a bunch of friends as a 3-5 person team as much as possible. I can't remember the last time I played a Dota 2 match without a bunch of friends.
b) play planned private matches with 10 people
c) report retarded players so they get punished.

i'm not sure he's talking about DotA or Dota 2, but if it's Dota 2 the system is still idiotic as it takes abandoning (leaving) a game at any time as an early abandonment and the game would be safe to leave, such that even if you win it won't be recorded and so the other team won't get a loss either. which is fucking retarded.

^I don't know why, but Russians seem to be mostly bad players in most of the matches I play. I hate to be stereotypical but it's actually true. They need their own servers, methinks.

The lower down the MM ladder you play, the more likely you are to see leavers, I find. I have friends who are at all levels of the match making ladder and in the higher level games I've played, with WiTcHeR for instance, I almost no leavers. But when I play with some RL friends who are significantly lower on the ladder, leavers are more common.

This is no different to the original DotA, we just notice it more now that we are all in one place, instead of spread between Garena, Darer, RGC, DLG, Bored Aussie and Battle.net

I know valve very well sir. i've played team fortress 2 i've watched the game being ruined by hats and gay shits. so don't tell me to sort my facts, valve are going to put this shitty hats and some other gay useless shit on dota which we don't need. i want dota as a serious game and a "funny" valve game.
