Start charging money for the game

Postby VanizzleBizzle » 28 May 2012, 12:21

This may sound strange, but I am sick and tired of playing with noobs who throw games and give up mid way and sit at fountain for their various ridiculous reasons. The standard way to counter this is to report, however I have just spent yet another game with one of these people, and again they have the generic comeback;
"lol like I care, I will just use one of my other accounts"
So I put forward the idea to start charging for the game. I am more than happy to pay $100 to completely purge issues like these from the system, and make these keyboard warriors more considerate.

So I put it forward, throw a $100 price tag on this game now, and make these inconsiderate stains on society actually suck it up and deal with the consequences of their inconsiderate actions.

Thank you Valve.

Maybe they will have some kind of "pay to play with other people who pay" =).

That's why I hate free-to-play.

In addition report is totally useless.

Guys... guys... it's called OPEN BETA for a fucking reason. maybe you'd rather play a game in beta and yet still needs to bought first, but that's really dumb.

well, VanizzleBizzle's immaturity in his post isn't convincing me he's right at all. in fact, it kinda backfires. imagine dota 2 does costs $100 and rich kiddos actually buy them thinking it's some lame RPG game and ruin it a whole lot more and still go around saying "fucking shitheads can't afford dota 2 you poor noobs i own your ass" blah blah blah. that would bemore like a good-players purge.

They describe in details the economic model recently but it's known since a long time that the game will be free-to-play.
