The Engineer from the Beta was my favorite hero, he plants he's turret and any item enhancement will work on the turret like: Thunderclaw would prock on the turret!

Porting HoN heroes to Dota 2 is like saying to S2 "We're not good enough to come up with our own heroes so we're going to use yours" which would be suicide for Valve. And besides, IceFrog hasn't had problems coming up with new heroes for quite some time, why should he need to look outside the community now?

Other than that I wouldn't want to see any heros ported if they didn't originally come from DotA, in other words I don't want ANY ports from HoN.

Sandwraith is Spectre. Which Spectre is a hard carry if played right and farmed. I think you know his abilitys right? Well hes in dota 2 already and his first ability is probably its best because he can cast it in a straight line or on a target and it slows the target and increases your movement speed only if your walking on your path. Than his second and 3 are passives and his last is a ultimate which creates and illusion wherever and enemy hero is and you can jump on that illusion and attack from there on. So hes really good in team fights because you confuse people for a few seconds.

But seriously, I doubt they can or even want to port any heroes from HoN because of copyright issues and the fact that most of those heroes are absolute trash and have no room in competitive play (i.e. Cthuluphant, Monkey King, etc) while other heroes like Arachna had some features of previous DotA heroes (Drow).
Don't get me wrong, HoN has had their decent heroes like Maliken (who I still think is much too strong), Nymphora, Myrmidon and of course Rhapsody who have had an impact in competitive games but the vast majority come from DotA ports.

And lastly (don't hold me to this), but I can definitely see the DotA 2 competitive metagame evolving from DotA + HoN (I can't really say much on LoL since I've never played it, cbf) where we might see a little less ricing (obviously not from the Chinese) and a little more push heavy but because of the two different styles I'd just really like to see where this competitive scene will end up once pros from all ends of current MobA games truly get together.

I personally like the support heros S2 made, myrm, nymph, and rhap to be specific. Cool concepts and really add more action to the game through their ability to either, help pushes, gank, teleport players across the map, etc... It makes the MOBA genre much more watchable if hero like this exist.
