I think the cast should consist of all new heroes, or maybe all the heroes from DOTA 1 + a wide array of new heroes, just a bit more balanced. There could be an option to only play new heroes, only old, mixture, etc. Just make it so the choices are limitless in which people can always have more than 1 counter hero available to make it more fun.

i would like to see puppet master, pandamonium (but not as this kungfu panda ripoff, but his skills are fun), The new hero Martyr (awesome), Silhouette, Empath and various single skills since they got a lot of good skills in a fail hero concept, (bomb ulti, fluxs pull mechanics, nomads whole skills but not on the same hero xD, moraxus ult, alunas dejavu, darkladys ult, kraken ult, zepyhrs ult, engi ult, keg and turret again not on the same hero...) there are actually a lot of nice skills but not fitting in a good hero concept

I think the original cast from dota would be more than enough without any of S2's heroes.

We're forgetting that there is a massive group of heroes not ported from dota. That group gets even bigger if you count the heroes that we're only partially ported from or inspired by dota heroes.

Hopefully they don't use any HoN heroes so as not to stroke S2's ego. They have some good heroes, but they don't touch the Top 20 coolest DotA heroes.

Chipper and Corrupted Disciple were fun, even though Corrupted borrows 2 moves from Razor and a simple damage nuke. But I enjoyed him a lot and I have a 72% winrate with him from 29 games. Most of them really didn't do a lot for me though. They were passable, but yeah..

For visual concepts, again I wouldn't use any, but if I had to I guess Witch Slayer's is cooler than Lions, Rampage is cooler than Spirit Breaker and the secondary model for Soul Reaper is sooo cool. It's like a deathknight with a scythe.

They changed corrupted? 1 years ago was still a 1:1 port of razor ( maybe some base damage difference if I remember correctly )
