I found this in PlayDota Forums after playing Dota 2. It's really really cool. Seriously. This is really a proof that Dota 2 is gonna be F2P. I hope what I'm saying is true. lololol Anyway, here are the screenshots.

I don't think an in-game store necessarily means F2P. You're right though, it looks like they might follow that model.

TF2 had the item shop for well over half a year before it went F2P, so I'm still going with a $20 pricetag.

I'm thinking it's not gonna be F2P. Like MikeFu said, it's just an in game cosmetic shop. I didn't think about this 'cause I was so excited that it was gonna be F2P. I got my hopes up high again.. lololol

Hope it would be F2P. But I don't like lots of LoL and HoN players. I hate how they speak and play. But some people who know how to play, I give them a thumbs up.

Fuck. I will seriously consider not playing Dota 2 if it goes F2P. Having millions of people sign up, play once, get stomped then leave and never play again is not going to be good for the game. It certainly doesn't give Dota 2 a good look.

lol dude. Chill, breathe in and smell fresh air. I'm thinking it's not gonna be F2P. 'Cause it's just an in game cosmetics for heroes. Only a few people with lots of extra money would buy things like it.

I think they will go for like what they did to TF2. TF2 was B2P until years later after reaching a "considerable" number of people who bought the game, they make it F2P and use the shop as the source of getting money. It was successful but I doubt they will do it 2nd time

+ Have you guys not noticed Dota 2 closed beta keeps sending and sending invites to people? Valve couldn't do it to CS:GO because it is going to be a B2P game but that's just my theory if it's going to be B2P then if I were Gabe I would stop sending invites right now. They wouldn't want thousands of players be disappointed

Dude. You can add friends by just having a single game. Try downloading TF2 and delete it after you play just one game. lol

TF2 does not count unless you already upgraded it to Premium IIRC.

its steam sale u can get good game on 75% discount, or ucan win something on steamgift or TF2 Item Raffles, or like Polimer said get TF2 premium for 0.5$.

i hate F2P coz have lots of kids...when i go net cafe i see only 10 years old to play lol without skillz
i think valve dont want this...Valve want seriously people and i dont care for lol player i have ask so many lol player how is Dota 2 and they say is so bad...but hon players says is good game...What sense have if you have kid in the game and playing like a shit...? how the game will grown up with 10 years old?and the peoples when playing one difficult game they know only to quit (more players).
