Playing with AI when STEAM is offline

hi, sometimes I really hope I can play with ai, especially when my steam offline, maybe i cannot connect to the internet a while. at least on that time i still can play dota 2 to test several way to play my hero, see it works or not...

you can play AI through the "practice" option and selecting to fill all the slots with AI players in the game setup. I'm assuming you are asking about offline play though?

I would love this. Offline LAN would be amazing aswell to play with my little brother :)

I would like this as I am offline a lot and I would like to think that this will happen when the game is released, but I doubt it. I have a strange feeling that Valve would end up confining the game to Steam, although there's a high chance that the iFrog will change their minds.
