You guys saw the article and leaked images on HoN 3.0?

Idejer confirmed those images and info were right and he doesnt know how they got leaked but whoever didnt see it yet take a look.

some hero info and some screens on HoN 3.0... i have to admit it looks way better than it is now, but as HoN still is a F2P game, it will DEFINTLY come with a bunch of fuckups inbetween. heroes that are unbalanced and etc etc etc.. what are your thoughts?

looks pretty good, they need to do something to keep the players they still have. hope the game doesnt die out though had lots of fun in it. its a good game.

yeah it does look attractive, i still plan HoN at the moment but ive been trying to not play it, if this 3.0 comes out with the heroes + fixes to alot of the stuff it will keep alot of the player base. I just dont expect it to happen because S2 games fucks up on something all the time

Well, In mu oponion, they are making the game look more and more like LoL
Not to say thats a bad thing, but i cant really see the reason to play HoN anymore compared to both LoL and Dota 2, since they both do what HoN does better
Instead of keep making the game more and more like another game, S2 should go their own way like Riot did in the beginning
MAybe that way they could make just abit succes

Whoa this is news to me. I seriously think S2 needs to just focus on balance and creating a competitive game rather than a fun/casual game.

They don't know how to really make people stay in the game and on top of that they had so many issues with their servers back a month or so ago. They also have no idea how to run a game.

Too many pretty pictures and not enough hard-made mechanics.

I think it looks much better from a visual design perspective. S2 need to try harder to differentiate themselves since DOTA2 is going to dominate the competitive scene and LoL already has a firm grasp on the casual scene. I like the changes but I think it's too little too late.

Though they killed the game with the free2play change...

Hon drifts away more and more from the original Dota, which isn't what the players want. It will compete with LoL only soon enough.

for me, what they really should focus on 3.0 is major balances and renewals on heroes.

graphics can be good, but most players want changes to heroes, especially the new ones.

as for their hon shop, i don't really care.

unless they bring some big changes (graphic excluded) that game won't get better at all

I have played LoL, still play a bit of Dota, but in my opinion HoN is the best one of all. And they will have to keep making these changes to even stand a change against LoL and Dota. I don't think they necessarily copy LoL, but with some heroes like holly polly and pearl they really look like they do sometimes...

And they didn't change only the pools, if you watch the vid of the last new hero you can see allot more changes to the map. Maby they even add a new map? Like they did with the 3v3 map, it isn't all that balanced, but 3v3 sure is allot of fun if you play with 2friends. We'll see..

I think HoN will stay my nr.1 for quite some time and I like the changes. Yay.

Well there are still tens of thousand of players, if you play European time, you will see allot of 100k+ players online, so it's running pretty well i guess... Graphics don't necessarily need to be changed, if they change that, they will change the whole game play experience, And I don't know if the HoN community likes that.
