Just got my beta key four days ago, used to play WC3 Frozen Throne DotA back in the day. I had picked up league of legends since I stopped playing, but I found the mechanics too simple, and I often got mad at Riot for scrambling their meta game. Now that I'm back in... I can't wait to get on the scene. See you on the battlefield, and congrats to everyone that also got into beta.

Got my beta key around 10 days ago, but did not know, because Ive been lazy in checking my hotmail. Was quite excited when I checked today and saw the beta key email ^^. I'm immensely thankful that I actually got one, seeing as I have no previous Dota experience. I look forward to meeting you all on the battlefield with my uber noob skillz, don't go easy on me .

Just one thing though, you're supposed to get two extra invites with the beta key, but I have not recived any as of yet. Have Valve stopped handing them out, or do you receive them after having played the game for awhile? Or is it a bug? Thank you in advance .

Edit: seems Valve stopped giving out extras, due to people selling them and scams. Sad stuff , hopefully the game will be fully released soon, so my friends can join .
