Anyways. I've played some DotA 2. Carries over as just about the same as DotA, only it's not quite as annoyingly rough because of the command delay that's natural for any game of WC3 that doesn't involve the fastest of fast connections.

Granted, I'm not used to the more backed-up, deny and kill until you're fed and THEN fight style of DotA1/2 and HoN since I've been playing League, but I'm acclimating well once I start separating the playing styles into two separate fields of my mind.

Valve you made me to hate Dota... You shouldn't make Dota 2... I was really happy with old Dota... It was fine i could play Dota every day on Darer, Garena,Battlenet... I have played this damn game for 4 years..and u just come up with a Dota 2 which is i think will never come out.. instead u just pissed off Garena and Darer other clients which i could play on.. now nobody is playing every body checks their email to get lucky and get the damn fuckin key.. i waited like 6 months.. like an idiot.. then i had nothing to do.. just bought WOW expansions.. and right now playing WoW.. but still i can't ignore this Damn Dota.. I love DOTA .. .... give me the fuckin Dota i will buy it at any price.. If that's what you really think to do... many of my friends in china they are sayin that they can buy the key.. how is that possible?


If you really respect the old dota players... and you said you love to watch them, how smart how brilliant they are.... So plz plz just don't make us wait more.

So far i dont really like DotA because of its Low Reaction on Last Hit
When u try to last hit a minion u have to do it 2 seconds before that.
And that is what i really hate about DotA (the delay)

Also DotA 2 is more like HoN then it is like DotA.
(so far i know and saw into the game .. since i dont own the game yet!)
The thing i dislike is that u have to buy sometimes at the secret shop.
It should be possible to do all items at your base.

I hope you mean Dota 2 is more like HoN when it comes to things other than in-game stuff. Because surely In-game Dota 2 must be more like DotA than HoN :O.

I think you find that it's more like HoN because HoN is sort of a direct copy of DotA heroes and it's a game by itself unlike DotA that's a custom map of Warcraft 3. In this case I guess anyone would agree with you...

DotA is not a game by itself, it's a Warcraft 3 map, so playing DotA = playing Warcraft 3. This also means it has tons of limitations, especially interface, like you can't reconnect, many people still uses maphack, the WC3 replay viewer sucks too badly especially when you want to make a video, etc.

The guy's trying to say there's no need for another dota, and I'm trying to say that eventually it has to change from a game mod to a game by itself. i mean people already recognise it as a game by itself, most of the people who play dota might not even have played the default warcraft 3 maps or campaign.

But he's wrong, since Dota2 has lots of improvements.
